Comfy Couch Church
Sunday May 2nd, 10am STORM WATCH PART 3: The Aftermath
When people go through storms, the world pays attention. Something in us wants to see how other people handle the troubles life throws at them. This week we are going to look at the potential for influence that we all have when a storm hits, whether we want it or not. And how God can use a storm in ways we would never expect. Saturday May 1st, 2:30pm-5:30pm Zacada Circus School Run away and join the circus with us (for a day at least!). Learn how to look like a pro on the trampoline, silk ropes, tight rope, and many more. Please let us know if you will be bringing a friend. Release forms must be signed by parents, and the cost is $12.00 per person. We’ll enjoy some pizza afterwards back at the church. Friday May 14th, 6pm-10:00pm The other side of downtown Hamilton We’ve spent a lot of time this year in Downtown Hamilton – serving and meeting our neighbours. We want to have one more youth event that allows us to see a different side of our city’s downtown. Meet at Kyle and Tessa’s at 6pm. From there we will enjoy a cultural dining experience at a local restaurant, eating with our hands at Wass Ethiopian Restaurant! After that, we’ll take in the sights and sounds of an Art Crawl on James Street North. Please bring $12 for dinner. |
